Admissions Requirements

To enter any course offered at DDBS, you must:

Have earned an acceptable high school diploma, GED® equivalent, or foreign secondary school equivalent. If you currently don’t meet this requirement, you can arrange to take the GED through your state’s GED administrator’s office or search for the nearest GED testing center.
Be at least 17 years of age at the time of application..
Be a citizen or permanent resident of the United States or hold an approved, valid visa if residing in the United States.
Complete all required forms for admission.

Transfer credit

DDBS does accept most transfer credits for coursework completed at another institution. Transcripts will be evaluated for eligible clock hour transfers. Transcripts will be accepted from the State of Michigan. Students with eligible transfer hours exceeding more than half the DDBS program clock hours will be required to issue a placement exam for transferrable clock hour totals.
