CEO & Director of Operations

Marlene Brooks

Marlene Brooks is the CEO, Director of Operations and Chief Administrative Officer of Dymond Designs Beauty School. She has over 30 years’ experience as a business owner, licensed Cosmetologist, and Management and Unlimited licensed Cosmetology Instructor. She is the owner and director of DDBS, an accredited, Title IV approved post-secondary educational school. Marlene is also the chief liaison for all federal, state, local and national accrediting organizations. Marlene is a graduate of Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses and is certified as a minority- and woman-owned business.

Racquel Williams

Racquel Williams is a Certified Public Bookkeeper with two undergraduate degrees in Business and Finance and over 10 years of experience in financial services and administration. Known for her strong work ethic and attention to detail, Racquel plays a key role in administering federal student aid, supporting compliant operations, and improving internal financial processes.

Roxy Dunlap

Roxy Dunlap has been in the administrative industry for 30 years. Roxy has worked on many projects with the Dymond Designs Beauty brand for the past 13 years as Executive Assistant, and is currently the Business Center Administrator for DDBS. She has built great leadership and communication skills over the years, serving administratively in industries ranging from automotive to telecommunications. While attending Oakland Community College for Business Administration, Roxy increased her knowledge and skills to operate and maintain many software systems.

Brittany Hughes

Brittany Hughes has been an esthetician for 12 years. She attended The Gallery Beauty School and received her Esthetician license, then worked at Dymond Designs Beauty Studio for 5 years as an Esthetician. Once Dymond Designs Beauty School opened, she furthered her career and received her instructor’s license. She completed the Dymond Designs Beauty School Esthetics Instructors program and is now an Esthetics teacher.

Angela Godfrey

Angela Godfrey is a graduate of Oakland University, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Public Administration and Policy. She continued her education in the beauty industry at Michigan College of Beauty in Esthetics, and opened a small business, A&G Studio, LLC, where she serves her clients in beauty and skin care. Angela is also a graduate of the Dymond Designs Beauty School Esthetics Instructors program.

Ikea Treadwell is a licensed esthetician instructor who graduated from Dymond Designs Beauty School. “I love everything about the Skyn and Body. I am the owner of Skyn & Body Therapy, which specializes in facial relaxation, full body waxing and body contouring. I love helping people and making them feel good about themselves.”

India Amos is a dedicated, dependable and creative fast learner. She is a licensed Unlimited Cosmetology Instructor and has been a licensed Cosmetologist for 4 years. India managed Dymond Designs Beauty Studio and is the owner of I.M.A Heat, a company that creates and customizes wigs for customers and cancer patients.

Anthony Jackson

Anthony Jackson, a native Detroiter and graduate of Southfield High School, attended Virginia Farrell Beauty School, where he graduated and taught for several years. He also worked in the Detroit Public Schools system for eight years teaching cosmetology, and in 2014 he became senior instructor at Dorsey Beauty College. He was the hairstylist for the award-winning gospel group The Clark Sisters.

Talonda Haley

Talonda Haley is a licensed cosmetologist with over 20 years of experience in the beauty industry and has proudly served as a cosmetology instructor for the past 4 years. Her educational journey began at Central High School and Breithaupt Vocational Center, followed by studies at Dillard University, the National Institute of Technology, Wayne County Community College, Wayne State University, and David Pressley School of Cosmetology. She holds a degree in Arts and Science and a certification in Patient Accounting.

Onika Hollis

Onika Hollis has been a licensed cosmetologist for over 8 years and a cosmetology instructor for 1 year. She has been doing hair for over 10 years, and hair is her passion. She graduated from Pontiac High School in 2014 and went straight to Michigan College of Beauty in Waterford, where she received her cosmetology license as well as her instructor’s license. She is a loving, fun and energetic instructor, ready to teach and always learning.

Kimberly Barksdale has been a Cosmetologist for 35 years. Her passion and heart for the industry and for excellent client service fueled her desire to become a cosmetology instructor, where she has led and inspired many students to make their dreams come true as professional cosmetologists, estheticians, and nail technicians.

“I am the proud owner of a hair salon in the city of Detroit called Holla At Cha Girl, which I opened in 2006. This led me to take the necessary training at Bela Beauty School to become a licensed instructor in 2016. After receiving my instructor’s license, I worked at Bela’s Beauty School as a Cosmetology Clinic Instructor from 2016 through 2018, all while still running my own hair salon.”

Ms. Caffee is an Advanced Licensed Esthetician and the Admissions Coordinator at Dymond Designs Beauty School. With 10 years of self-taught artistry and more than 50 professional certifications, she brings extensive knowledge and a genuine passion for student success to her role, guiding prospective students through the admissions process while upholding the school’s standards of excellence. As the founder of her own beauty business, she provides clients with advanced treatments that reflect her commitment to innovation, skill, and quality care. Grounded in professionalism and mentorship, Ms. Caffee is dedicated to fostering an inspiring learning environment while maintaining integrity, compliance, and the continued growth of the institution.
